Repairing the flood damage

In the early hours of 16th February 2020 storm Dennis badly hit South Wales and especially the Rhondda Valleys and the town of Treorchy.

The flood waters came up to the front steps of our bandroom and we thought we had survived unscathed but Dennis had other ideas!

The flood waters came in via our rear fire door and destroyed our carpet on the ground floor. Also we think we have lost some music in the bottom of the cabinets and possibly a couple of instruments have been damaged.

Over the past 3 months since the storm, the band room has been refurbished to repair to the damage from storm Dennis and it is starting to take shape. However, there is still a way to go before the band room is fully refurbished. If you would like to help contribute towards the repair of the band room, please visit the band’s Just Giving page.
