The costs of running and maintaining a brass band of the calibre of Parc & Dare Band run into thousands of pounds every year. Costs include instruments (including the purchase and maintenance), uniforms, music, materials and administrative costs, hire of the band-room and insurance. The Band’s activities are financed mainly by player subscriptions, fundraising which includes concerts, other fee-paying engagements, public donations and raffles.

You can help by signing up to Easyfundraising for free or even participating in the band’s 100 Club monthly draw, and in doing so, you will be directly helping the band to attend competitions, hold concerts in the community, purchase instruments, music, and equipment, and cover the costs of venue hire.
