DESCRIPTION: \n \nWe are ready ! This year we will be competing In the Wychavon Festival of Brass.  \nWychavon Festival of Brass is held in the ancient market town of Evesham just to the north of the Cotswold hills. The contest takes place on an annual basis in late autumn\, with bands competing from all over the UK. There are separate sections for Championship\, First\, Second\, Third and Fourth Section bands. \nThe venue is the Simon De Montfort School. There are a number of auditoriums and a large catering facility provided by The Fleece Inn at Bretforton\, famous for its real ales.

DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome ! \nMembers are offered the opportunity to learn to read music\, play a brass instrument or percussion tuition and all participate in organised events. \nIn the past the Parc & Dare Community Band have performed with groups from Zimbabwe\, St Kitts in the Caribbean and Carnival with BBC Wales’ weatherman Derek Brockway. \nThe Parc & Dare Community band have also appeared alongside Parc & Dare Band events in venues which include the Wales Millennium Centre\, the Coliseum Theatre\, Aberdare\, and Parc & Dare Theatre\, Treorchy. \nMembership is open to all ages\, abilities or want to learn to read music and play a brass instrument or percussionist (Tuned or drum kit).
